A museum about war and peace

In the Memory Museum visitors can experience the Second World War step by step, from the rise of National Socialism in Germany, up to and including the liberation of the Netherlands. As a visitor, you experience the difference between war and peace with your own senses.

We are a social museum about freedom. By talking about war in peacetime, you as a visitor can gain insight into what luxury we live: freedom. To get this realization at all, thousands of men from other countries have done the unthinkable: sacrificing their lives to make the freedom of the Dutch possible. The moment you get this realization and see how the Second World War could have originated, then you can also prevent a future war.
