Visitor information

In the War Museum, run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, the period of 1918-1945, from the rise of the National Socialism till the liberation of Europe, can be seen stage by stage.
The heart of the museum is formed by real life dioramas, where visitors can experience all the senses of the war.

An important part of our activities aims at education of pupils in group 7 and 8 of primary schools. A unique education project has been developed for the pupils. During their visit to the museum, pupils take up subjects of the history of the Second World War. Under professional supervision of a guide, pupils tell their own story to the other pupils in the group.

The museum is open six days a week, has a cosy restaurant/café and is accessible for wheelchair users.
